Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on March 22, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., at the Office of Indiana State Chemist, 175 South University Street, Room A144, West Lafayette, Indiana, the State Seed Commissioner will hold a public hearing on the proposed rule change to update the noxious weed seed rule 360 IAC 1-1-5 and 360 IAC 1-1-6.

The proposed rule will reduce regulations in the prohibited noxious weed seed section 360 IAC 1-1-5 by eliminating weeds no longer deemed to be a problem, and will add weedy amaranthus species to the restricted noxious weed seed section 360 IAC 1-1-6.
