IC 4-22-2.1-5 Statement Concerning Rules Affecting Small Businesses
The proposed rule will not impose requirements or costs on small businesses under
IC 4-22-2.1-5. This rule will simply restrict the distribution and sale of highly noxious weeds in the Amaranth family through the seed suppliers already regulated by the State Chemist. Because the requirements in this rule will apply only to this one family of weeds the economic impact will be negligible in most cases and minimal to businesses that will be impacted fiscally.
