Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on February 1, 2018, at 1:00 p.m., at the O'Brien Recreation, O'Brien Boardroom, 321 East Walter Street, South Bend, Indiana 46614, the Natural Resources Commission will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to 312 IAC 6.2-1-2 to add the definitions of "baseline volume abandonment", "discontinued significant water withdrawal facility", and "inactive significant water withdrawal facility", and to amend the definition of "salmonid stream". Amends 312 IAC 6.2-2-3 to allow for sale or transfer of all or a portion of a facility's baseline volume and to provide for the relinquishment of a facility's baseline volume. Amends 312 IAC 6.2-2-7 to clarify basin-wide conservation and efficiency objectives as anticipated by Resolution 5 adopted by the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Basin Water Resources Council.

IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3) Justification Statement: The proposed amendments to 312 IAC 6.2 would not impose requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).
