Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on December 5, 2017, at 9:30 a.m., at the Indiana State Police Commercial Motor Vehicle Division, 7811 Millhouse Road, Suite S, Indianapolis, Indiana, the State School Bus Committee will hold a public hearing on proposed changes to Title 575 of the Indiana Administrative Code to amend 575 IAC 1-9-7 for a new location requirement and fastening method for seat belt cutters and clarification of language specifying an additional seat belt cutter on a bus equipped with a lift and amend 575 IAC 1-9-49 to add an option for an additional brake light and two additional backup lights.

The proposed rule would not impose requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Department of Education, 115 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection and copying.
