In accordance with public notice requirements of 42 CFR 447.205, the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP) publishes this notice of proposed changes to the cost reporting requirements of enrolled home health agencies (HHA). This public notice period will run 10/4/17-11/3/17.

OMPP proposes to remove the requirement for HHAs to complete and submit cost reports effective October 1, 2017. Additionally, language is changed to bring the State Plan into compliance with 42 CFR 440.70 by not restricting HHA services to only members who are homebound.

These changes have no impact on reimbursement rates and therefore there is no fiscal impact.

Also, a copy of this notice is now available and may be inspected by contacting the local county office of the division of family resources, except in Marion County, where public inspection may be made at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W374, Indianapolis, Indiana 46207-7083.
