Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on October 23, 2017, at 10:00 a.m., at the Indiana Gaming Commission, 101 West Washington Street, East Tower, Suite 1600, Executive Conference Room, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Gaming Commission will hold a public hearing on proposed rules to add 68 IAC 26 concerning paid fantasy sports games.

The Indiana Gaming Commission (IGC) has the authority to promulgate rules in accordance with the requirements of IC 4-33. IC 4-33-24-13(a) requires the IGC to adopt rules related to paid fantasy sports in Indiana. The costs associated with the proposed rule are necessary to ensure consumer protections are in place and the standards and integrity of paid fantasy sports games are upheld in Indiana. The IGC has relied solely on internal analysis regarding the imposition of costs.
