TITLE 312 NATURAL RESOURCES COMMISSION

Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule
LSA Document #17-400

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Natural Resources Commission intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Amends 312 IAC 6.2-1-2 to add the definitions of "baseline volume abandonment", "discontinued significant water withdrawal facility", and "inactive significant water withdrawal facility", and to amend the definition of "salmonid stream". Amends 312 IAC 6.2-2-3 to allow for sale or transfer of all or a portion of a facility's baseline volume and to provide for the relinquishment of a facility's baseline volume. Amends 312 IAC 6.2-2-7 to clarify basin-wide conservation and efficiency objectives as anticipated by Resolution 5 adopted by the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Basin Water Resources Council.
