TITLE 856 INDIANA BOARD OF PHARMACY

Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule
LSA Document #17-283

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Indiana Board of Pharmacy intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Adds 856 IAC 1-43 concerning ephedrine and pseudoephedrine. The rule will establish requirements concerning the sale of products containing ephedrine or pseudoephedrine by pharmacists. The rule will establish requirements regarding "conversion resistant" and "extraction resistant" products containing ephedrine or pseudoephedrine. Public comments are invited and may be directed to the Indiana Board of Pharmacy c/o Darren R. Covington, J.D., Director, 402 West Washington Street, Room W072, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204 or by email to dcovington@pla.in.gov. Statutory authority: IC 25-26-13-4; IC 35-48-4-14.3.
