DIGEST

Temporarily adds noncode provisions regarding the application for an endorsement to a commercial driver's license or commercial learner's permit. Statutory authority: IC 9-24-6.1-2. Effective December 29, 2016.


SECTION 1. (a) The holder of a commercial driver's license or commercial learner's permit may apply to the bureau to add or remove an endorsement to the commercial driver's license or commercial learner's permit. If adding an endorsement, the application must contain all information required by the bureau to support the addition of the endorsement. For all endorsement additions or removals, the application must be accompanied by a payment of nineteen dollars ($19).

(b) Revenue collected from the nineteen dollar ($19) charge shall be distributed as follows:
(1) Fifty cents ($0.50) to the state motor vehicle technology fund.
(2) One dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) to the motor vehicle highway account.
(3) One dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) to the integrated public safety communications fund.
(4) Sixteen dollars ($16) to the commission fund.

SECTION 2. (a) This document takes effect December 29, 2016.

(b) This document expires March 29, 2017.
