DIGEST
Temporarily adds a noncode provision concerning the expedited licensure process for military spouses. Statutory authority:
IC 25-1-17-11. Effective December 7, 2016.
SECTION 1.
(a) "Military spouse" has the meaning set forth in IC 25-1-17-3.
(b) If a military spouse, whose wife or husband is assigned to a duty station in Indiana, submits an application for a license or permit, and is a qualified applicant pursuant to applicable statutory and administrative licensure requirements as found in IC 25-22.5 and 844 IAC, the board shall expedite the processing of such application and issue the license, certification, registration, or permit as soon as practicable.
(c) Any applicant seeking expedited licensure pursuant to this SECTION shall submit proof that their spouse is assigned to a duty station in Indiana and proof of marriage with the application.
