Notice of Public Hearing
Under
IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on November 16, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N501, Indianapolis, Indiana the Natural Resources Commission will hold a public hearing on the proposed addition of
312 IAC 8-1.5-21.5 to define "state park".
IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3) Justification Statement: The proposed rule amendments would not impose requirements or costs under
IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3). There are no new costs for businesses. This rule may result in a possible revenue increase for the Department of Natural Resources (Department). Aside from the aforementioned possibility, there is not expected to be any new change in requirements or costs for state or local government as a result of this rule. There are no new compliance or administrative costs. There are no new enforcement requirements. The overarching benefit of this proposed rule is ensuring the legislative intent of
IC 7.1-3-17.8 is properly regulated. The Department believes the direct and indirect benefits of this proposed rule justify the need for "state park" to be defined with no new additional requirements or costs for the Department.
Copies of these rules are now on file at the Natural Resources Commission, Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N501 and Legislative Services Agency, Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N201, Indianapolis, Indiana, and are open for public inspection.
