TITLE 140 BUREAU OF MOTOR VEHICLES

Temporarily adds rules regarding the fee to add or remove an endorsement on a commercial driver's license or commercial learner's permit. Statutory authority: IC 9-24-6.1-2. Effective September 29, 2016.

SECTION 1. The fee to add or remove an endorsement on a commercial driver's license or commercial learner's permit is nineteen dollars ($19). The fee shall be distributed as follows:

(1) For an endorsement added or removed before January 1, 2017, nineteen dollars ($19) to the commission fund.

(2) For an endorsement added or removed after January 1, 2017, and before July 1, 2019:

(A) Fifty cents ($0.50) to the state motor vehicle technology fund.

(B) One dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) to the motor vehicle highway account.

(C) One dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) to the integrated public safety communications fund.

(D) Sixteen dollars ($16) to the commission fund.

(3) For an endorsement added or removed after July 1, 2019:

(A) Fifty cents ($0.50) to the state motor vehicle technology fund.

(B) One dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) to the motor vehicle highway account.

(C) Seventeen dollars and twenty-five cents ($17.25) to the commission fund.

SECTION 2. (a) This document takes effect September 29, 2016.

(b) This document expires December 28, 2016.
