IC 4-22-2.1-5 Statement Concerning Rules Affecting Small Businesses
IC 4-22-2.1-5 requires an agency to file an Economic Impact Statement for publication in the Indiana Register for any proposed rule that "will impose requirements or costs on small businesses. . .".
As the proposed rule requires reserve police officers to meet the same annual training requirements as full-time merit police officers and attendant rules to ensure compliance, the proposed rule does not impose requirements or costs on small businesses. Therefore, pursuant to
IC 4-22-2.1-5(a), the agency is relieved of the responsibility to file an Economic Impact Statement.
