Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on July 28, 2016, at 8:30 a.m., local time, at the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W064, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Medical Licensing Board of Indiana will hold a public hearing to add 844 IAC 16 to establish an education program to be used to educate women with high breast density and standards for providing an annual screening or diagnostic test for a woman who is at least 40 years of age and who has been determined to have high breast density.

This rule imposes no mandated financial cost. The rule does require a physician who orders a mammogram to consult with the interpreting physician on what follow-up testing or screening is required if a high breast density notification is sent to the patient.
