Title: Interpretation of
675 IAC 13-2.6, 2014 Indiana Building Code, Sections 1107.6.1.1 and 1107.6.2.1
Purpose and Background: The purpose of this nonrule policy is to clarify the requirement to provide Type A dwelling units in R-2 apartments, monasteries, and convents.
Interpretation: The Commission hereby interprets 1107.6.1.1 as follows: In R-2 apartments, monasteries, and convents, this section applies only in cases where Type A units are provided in lieu of Type B units, under Section 1107.6.2.1.
