IC 4-22-2.1-5 Statement Concerning Rules Affecting Small Businesses
Upon review, the costs or requirements on small businesses is indeterminable due to the voluntary nature of the registry it establishes. The Indiana Builder Association, however, estimates participation in the state registry from 250 of its members. The cost to individuals participating is also indeterminable as the fee for such participation will be set by the committee. Furthermore, the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency has determined that this rule imposes no costs or requirements on small businesses since certification in the registry is voluntary and not a requirement to practice.
