Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on September 6, 2016, at 9:00 a.m., at the Indiana Department of Education, Riley Conference Room, 115 West Washington Street, South Tower, Suite 600, Indianapolis, Indiana, the State School Bus Committee will hold a public hearing on proposed changes to Title 575 of the Indiana Administrative Code to amend 575 IAC 1-9-15 to allow a driver to delay completing the cycle for turning the child alert notification system off when the bus ignition is turned off; amend 575 IAC 1-9-28 to clarify and provide additional specifications for the contents of first aid kits; and amend 575 IAC 1-9-51 to include specifications for optional rear stop arms.

The proposed rule would not impose requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Department of Education, 115 West Washington Street and Legislative Services Agency, Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N201, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
