Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on May 26, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at the Indiana State Department of Health, 2 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana State Department of Health will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to 410 IAC 16.2-1.1-19, 410 IAC 16.2-1.1-55, 410 IAC 16.2-3.1-16, 410 IAC 16.2-3.1-23, and 410 IAC 16.2-7-4 to replace the term "mental retardation" with "intellectual disability".

The Indiana State Department of Health has the authority to adopt this rule under IC 16-28-1-7. This rule will not impose any additional requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).
