RE: LSA Document #15-381 Amends 868 IAC 1.1-10.1-1 to reduce barriers to licensure by endorsement for psychologists.

On behalf of the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency and the State Psychology Board, I am submitting this notice to the Publisher of the Indiana Register and Indiana Administrative Code in compliance with IC 4-22-2-25, which requires that a notice be sent to the Publisher if a rule will not be approved or deemed approved by the Governor within one year of publication of the Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule. This notice is submitted to the Publisher before the two hundred fiftieth day following the publication of the Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule.

The Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule was published in the Indiana Register on November 11, 2015. (DIN: 20151111-IR-868150381NIA)

Due to extended deliberations as well as staff turnover the Board and Agency may not be able to complete the rulemaking process by November 11, 2016. The Board and Agency hope to have a final rule adopted October 28, 2016. Approval or deemed approval by the Governor is expected not later than January 11, 2017.

This notice is being submitted in a timely manner. March 24, 2016, is the one hundred thirty-fourth day after publication of the Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule.
