TITLE 844 MEDICAL LICENSING BOARD OF INDIANA

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Medical Licensing Board of Indiana intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Adds 844 IAC 17 to establish requirements for certification of certified direct entry midwives, standards of competent practice for certified direct entry midwives, peer review procedures for certified direct entry midwives, continuing education requirements for certified direct entry midwives, and physician-certified direct entry midwife collaboration requirements. Public comments are invited and may be directed to the Medical Licensing Board of Indiana, Darren R. Covington, J.D., Director, 402 West Washington Street, Room W072, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204 or by e-mail to dcovington@pla.in.gov. Statutory authority: IC 25-22.5-2-7; IC 25-23.4-2-6.
