RE: LSA Document #15-83 – Indiana Public Library Standards

On behalf of the Indiana Library and Historical Board (ILHB), I am submitting this notice to the Indiana Register in compliance with IC 4-22-2-25, because the ILHB has determined that the promulgation of the captioned rule may not be completed within one year after publication of the Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule.

Following the public hearing, the ILHB must adopt the rule. Following the ILHB's adoption of the rule, the agency must gather the rulemaking information and records together for the packet that must be submitted to the Indiana Attorney General. Following approval of the Indiana Attorney General, the rule must be approved by the Governor. The ILHB projects that the Governor's final approval of this rule should occur by June 30, 2016.

This notice setting forth the expected date of approval of LSA Document #15-83 is being submitted in a timely manner. December 12th is the 250th day after publication of the Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule (DIN: 20150408-IR-590150083NIA).
