TITLE 312 NATURAL RESOURCES COMMISSION
Emergency Rule

DIGEST
Temporarily establishes counties and the statewide quota for the trapping of river otters during the 2015-2016 river otter season. Repeals LSA Document #15-111(E), posted at
20150506-IR-312150111ERA. Effective November 15, 2015.
(b) An individual may take a river otter as authorized in 312 IAC 9-3-18.2 in the following counties only:
(1) Adams.
(2) Allen.
(3) Bartholomew.
(4) Benton.
(5) Blackford.
(6) Carroll.
(7) Cass.
(8) Clark.
(9) Crawford.
(10) Daviess.
(11) Dearborn.
(12) Decatur.
(13) Dekalb.
(14) Dubois.
(15) Elkhart.
(16) Floyd.
(17) Fountain.
(18) Fulton.
(19) Gibson.
(20) Grant.
(21) Harrison.
(22) Huntington.
(23) Jackson.
(24) Jasper.
(25) Jay.
(26) Jefferson.
(27) Jennings.
(28) Knox.
(29) Kosciusko.

(c) The statewide quota for the total number of river otters that may be trapped is six hundred (600).
(b) Upon the closure of the season by temporary rule under 312 IAC 9-3-18.2(f), an individual who has not reached the bag limit may keep and possess a river otter that is trapped and reported on the department's electronic harvest reporting system within forty-eight (48) hours from a trap set before the close of the season.
SECTION 4. This document takes effect November 15, 2015.
SECTION 5. This document expires on March 16, 2016.
