Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on August 6, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., at the State of Indiana Forensic and Health Sciences Laboratories, 550 West 16th Street, Room N114, Indianapolis, Indiana, the State Department of Toxicology will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule to establish standards and specifications for certified ignition interlock device models.

The proposed rule is based on the recommendation of the Governor's Council on Impaired Driving and requires that certified ignition interlock device models meet the requirements in IC 9-30-8-3. No requirement or cost is imposed on regulated businesses that is not expressly required by the statute requiring the State Department of Toxicology to adopt this rule.

Copies of these rules are now on file at the State Department of Toxicology, 550 West 16th Street and Legislative Services Agency, Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N201, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
