Notice of Public Hearing
Under
IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on August 20, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., at the Indiana Gaming Commission, 101 West Washington Street, East Tower, Suite 1600, Executive Conference Room, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Gaming Commission will hold a public hearing on proposed rules to add
68 IAC 25 to add rules related to limited mobile gaming systems and devices.
Only when a casino elects to implement a limited mobile gaming system (LMGS), and that plan is approved by the Commission, does the proposed rule require compliance. This compliance is related to how the LMGS is installed, how the LMGS system is maintained, and the breadth of surveillance and security directly related to the LMGS system and patrons. Based on the Commission's experience with very similar rules related to existing gaming, it does not believe the impact will be greater than $500,000 for those casinos implementing LMGS.
Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Gaming Commission, 101 West Washington Street, East Tower, Suite 1600 and Legislative Services Agency, Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N201, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
