Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on July 6, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., at the Indiana State Department of Health, 2 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana State Department of Health will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule to add 410 IAC 1-2.5 to add definitions, reporting requirements, dangerous communicable diseases, disease intervention measures, general and specific control measures, and documents incorporated by reference. The rule adds and modifies control measures for schools, daycare facilities, preschools, health care facilities, and food handlers and adds reporting requirements for physicians, hospital administrators, and laboratories. Repeals 410 IAC 1-2.3.

The Indiana State Department of Health has the authority to adopt this rule under IC 16-19-3-4, IC 16-19-3-5, IC 16-41-2-1, IC 16-41-3-1, IC 16-41-12-12, and IC 16-41-12-17. This rule will not impose any additional requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).
