RE: LSA Document #14-350

On behalf of the State School Bus Committee, I am submitting this notice in compliance with IC 4-22-2-25, which requires that a notice be sent if a rule will not be signed by the Governor within one year of publication of the Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule. This notice is to be filed by the two hundred fiftieth day following the publication of the Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule.

The Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule for LSA Document #14-350 was published in the Indiana Register on September 10, 2014 (20140910-IR-575140350NIA). The total number of days between September 10, 2014, and May 14, 2015, is 247 days.

The delay is the result of extended consideration, including scheduling a public hearing at which as many interested stakeholders as possible may attend and make comments, of appropriate rules. Final approval by the Governor is expected no later than December 31, 2015.
