TITLE 10 OFFICE OF ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR THE STATE

Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Office of Attorney General for the State intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Adds 10 IAC 7 establishing the procedures for the Homeowner Protection Unit of the Attorney General's Office to implement and maintain the tax sale blight registry of all persons ineligible to purchase at a tax sale for use by county officials conducting tax sales. Public comments are invited and may be directed to the Office of the Indiana Attorney General, Attention: Emily L. Crisler, Deputy Attorney General, 302 West Washington Street, Indiana Government Center South, 5th Floor, Indianapolis, IN 46204 or by e-mail to emily.crisler@atg.in.gov. Statutory authority: IC 4-6-12-3.

Resources available to regulated entities through the small business ombudsman include the ombudsman's duties stated in IC 4-4-35-8, specifically IC 4-4-35-8(9), investigating and attempting to resolve any matter regarding compliance by a small business with a law, rule, or policy administered by a state agency, either as a party to a proceeding or as a mediator.
