Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on January 22, 2015, at 8:30 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W064, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Medical Licensing Board of Indiana will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule to create 844 IAC 5-8, which establishes a telehealth services pilot program.

The proposed rule is needed to establish standards and procedures to implement a telehealth services pilot program utilizing telecommunications and information technology to provide access to health assessment, diagnosis, intervention, consultation, treatment, supervision, and information across a distance as required by House Enrolled Act 1258 (P.L.74-2014).

Copies of these rules are now on file at the office of the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W072 and Legislative Services Agency, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N201, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
