Purpose: The purpose of this nonrule policy document is to clarify whether a ComCheck report, or documentation from similar software, is required to be filed with a project submitted to the Division of Fire and Building Safety, Plan Review Section, when the plans contain design notes showing compliance with the prescriptive requirements of the 2010 Indiana Energy Conservation Code.

Interpretation: A ComCheck report, or documentation from similar software, is not required to be filed with a project submitted to the Division of Fire and Building Safety, Plan Review Section, when the submitted plans contain design notes showing compliance with the prescriptive requirements of the 2010 Indiana Energy Conservation Code.
