Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule

Under
IC 4-22-2-23, the Indiana State Board of Animal Health intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:
OVERVIEW: Amends
345 IAC 1 governing the importation of live fish. The proposed rule will require viral hemorrhagic septicemia (VHS) susceptible species of live fish moved into the state to have tested negative for VHS virus using appropriate standards and methods. The rule may make other additions and changes in the laws governing disease control in captive fish. Questions and comments concerning the proposed rule may be sent to the Small Business Regulatory Coordinator for this rule. Statutory authority:
IC 15-17-3-13.
