FIRE PREVENTION AND BUILDING SAFETY COMMISSION
Interpretation by
the Fire Prevention and Building Safety Commission
Purpose: The purpose of this nonrule policy document is to clarify the application of Table 29 to S occupancies.
The requirements of Table 29 do not apply to an S occupancy that meets the following conditions:
(1) The building is normally unoccupied;
(2) The building does not have any plumbing system inside;
(3) Plumbing fixtures are not otherwise required by other rules of the Commission; and
(4) The building is unheated.
