Notice of Public Hearing

Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on June 3, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., at the Indiana Gaming Commission, PNC Center, 101 West Washington Street, Suite 1600-East Tower, Executive Conference Room, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Gaming Commission will hold a public hearing on a new proposed rule that adds the terms "calendar week", "dispensing device", "exempt event", "worker", and "retail establishment" to 68 IAC 21, amends portions of 68 IAC 21 concerning the conduct of charity gaming activities by qualified organizations, manufacturers, and distributors licensed by the Indiana Gaming Commission, establishes conditions for adding and removing affiliates of a national organization or foundation under the annual comprehensive license, establishes requirements for qualified card games, and repeals 68 IAC 21-1-5, 68 IAC 21-1-6, and 68 IAC 21-2-7.
The Indiana Gaming Commission has the authority to promulgate rules in accordance with the requirements of IC 4-32.2. The Commission has relied on internal analysis regarding the imposition of costs as well as input from qualified organizations.
Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Gaming Commission, 101 West Washington Street, Suite 1600-East Tower and Legislative Services Agency, Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N201, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
