FOR: PARDON FOR CHERRIE PETERSON
TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS MAY COME, GREETINGS;
WHEREAS, CHERRIE PETERSON, who petitioned for a pardon, was convicted in Marion County of Felony Battery in 1992; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner, is now a 43 year-old woman who has been a productive member of society, and has been employed in the insurance industry; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has been actively involved in her community, and attends Sanctuary Church where she helps out when needed; and
WHEREAS, the Parole Board, after careful investigation and examination of all the facts in this case, has unanimously recommended to the Governor that this pardon be granted.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., Governor of the State of Indiana, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of said State do hereby issue a Pardon to CHERRIE PETERSON.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Indiana on this 8th day of November, 2012.
