FOR: PARDON FOR CHARLES WINGER
TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS MAY COME, GREETINGS;
WHEREAS, CHARLES WINGER, who petitioned for a pardon, was convicted in Gibson County of Automobile Banditry in 1955; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner, is now a 75 year-old man who has been a productive member of society, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Regis College, and has worked in the data processing and computer field for many years; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has been actively involved in his community, and has volunteered as a mountain climbing instructor with the Colorado Mountain Club, first responder with the Beulah, Colorado ambulance service, Habitat for Humanity, President of Homeowners Association and Ouray Trail Group; and
WHEREAS, the Parole Board, after careful investigation and examination of all the facts in this case, has unanimously recommended to the Governor that this pardon be granted.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., Governor of the State of Indiana, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of said State do hereby issue a Pardon to CHARLES WINGER.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Indiana on this 8th day of November, 2012.
