FOR: PARDON FOR HOMER HOWARD
TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS MAY COME, GREETINGS;
WHEREAS, HOMER HOWARD, who petitioned for a pardon, was convicted in Jasper County of 2nd Degree Burglary in 1958; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner, is now a 71 year-old man who has been a productive member of society, served honorably in the Army Reserve and received an honorable discharge; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has been actively involved in his community, and has worked for many years as a welder and a crane operator; and
WHEREAS, the Parole Board, after careful investigation and examination of all the facts in this case, has unanimously recommended to the Governor that this pardon be granted.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., Governor of the State of Indiana, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of said State do hereby issue a Pardon to HOMER HOWARD.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Indiana on this 8th day of November, 2012.
