Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on November 14, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W064, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Board of Registration for Architects and Landscape Architects will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to 804 IAC 1.1-1-1, which will make a technical correction to the definitions, and 804 IAC 1.1-3-1, which will allow funds to be collected and deposited into the investigative fund for architects and landscape architects.

The Board of Registration for Architects and Landscape Architects has the authority to adopt rules under IC 25-1-4-3. The proposed rule amends 804 IAC 1.1-1-1 by making the definitions apply to the entire article and 804 IAC 1.1-3-1 by adding a fee of $20 to any applicant/issuance fee and renewal fees and changing the fees for new applicants by exam to $150, applicants by reciprocity with CLARB or NCARB to $200, applicants by reciprocity without CLARB or NCARB to $500, and changes the biannual renewal fee to $100. Fees for the investigative fund for architects and landscape architects are mandated by the legislature under IC 25-4-1-4, IC 25-4-1-16, and IC 25-4-1-32. Under IC 4-22-2-24(d), this proposed rule will not impose costs or requirements on regulated entities.
