Notice of Public Hearing
Under
IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on October 25, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. EDT, at the PNC Center, 101 West Washington Street, IURC Conference Center, Judicial Courtroom 222, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule (RM #12-07) to amend
170 IAC 1-6-3 to allow intrastate access tariff filings to be filed under the commission's 30 day administrative filing rule and amend
170 IAC 1-6-6 to provide an alternative means for utilities filing intrastate access tariff changes to provide the required notice.
The proposed rule will affect telecommunication utilities filing intrastate access charges with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission. The proposed rule clarifies that the filing of intrastate access tariff changes may be made under the Commission's 30 day administrative filing rule. The proposed rule also provides for an alternative method of providing the required notice for these filings. These changes will lessen the administrative burden for these telecommunication utilities and reduce the costs of providing notice of access tariff filings.
Copies of any justification data (referenced data, studies, or analyses) are now on file with the Commission and available to be inspected and copied at the PNC Center, 101 West Washington Street, Suite 1500 East, Indianapolis, Indiana.
