Under IC 4-22-2-24
, notice is hereby given that on October 15, 2012, at 9:00 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Conference Center Room 14, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Office of the Secretary of Family and Social Services will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule adding 405 IAC 5-34-7.1
to add the definition for curative care services and amending 405 IAC 5-34-5
, 405 IAC 5-34-6
, and 405 IAC 5-34-7
to add face-to-face encounter requirements for continued hospice eligibility and to allow Medicaid recipients less than 21 years of age to receive curative care services concurrently with hospice services and add plan of care requirements for such concurrent services.
The proposed rule amendments would not impose requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24
All parties interested in the proposed rule are invited to attend the public hearing and to offer public comments. In lieu of attendance at the public hearing, written comments may be sent to: IFSSA, Attention: Kelly Greene c/o Judith Coffey, 402 W. Washington St., Room W451, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Correspondence should be identified in the following manner: "COMMENT RE: LSA Document #12-451, Hospice Rule Change ". All written comments concerning the rule received by the Office of Medicaid Planning and Policy will be available for public inspection at the Office of General Counsel, Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W451, Indianapolis, Indiana.
