Under
IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on September 6, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., at the Indiana Gaming Commission, PNC Center, 101 West Washington Street, Suite 1600-East Tower, Executive Conference Room, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Gaming Commission will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule concerning definitions, terminology, and reports on economic development payments regarding local development agreements to amend
68 IAC 1-3-1 concerning applicability and obsolete terminology and
68 IAC 1-3-2 concerning reports on economic development payments, to add
68 IAC 1-3-4 concerning methods of payment,
68 IAC 1-3-5 concerning a duty to notify the commission regarding changes to bank account information, bylaws, or conflict of interest statements, and
68 IAC 1-3-6 concerning deviations and to make numerous technical changes and repeal
68 IAC 1-3-3.
The Indiana Gaming Commission has the authority to promulgate rules in accordance with the requirements of
IC 4-33 and
IC 4-35. It is estimated that zero small businesses in the gaming industry will be affected by this proposed rule. The costs associated with the proposed rule are minimal and are necessary to ensure the standards and integrity of gaming in Indiana and local development agreements. The Commission has relied solely on internal analysis regarding the imposition of costs.
