Emergency Rule

Temporarily adds rules concerning scratch-off game number 0344. Statutory authority:
IC 4-30-3-9. Effective June 6, 2012.
SECTION 1. The name of scratch-off game number 0344 is "Casino Cash Out".
SECTION 2. Tickets in scratch-off game number 0344 shall sell for five dollars ($5) per ticket, unless otherwise adjusted by temporary price reductions or other promotional activities conducted or authorized by the commission.
SECTION 3. Each ticket in scratch-off game number 0344 shall include five (5) separate and independent game areas labeled "FAST $25 SPOT", "YOURS BEATS THEIRS", "2 OF A KIND", "7 - 11", and "SLOTS". Each game area is played separately and the play symbols and prize symbols in one (1) game area cannot be used as play or prize symbols in another game area.
SECTION 4. (a) Each ticket in scratch-off game number 0344 shall contain thirty-three (33) play symbols. The possible play symbols for each game area is [sic, are] as follows:

(3) "2 OF A KIND" play symbols include:
(4) "7 - 11" play symbols include:

(b) Each prize symbol includes a caption that corresponds with and verifies the prize symbol as follows:
(c) If a question arises as to a play or prize symbol, the caption that corresponds with the play or prize symbol will be used for final clarification.
SECTION 5. The:
(1) retailer validation code;
(2) game/pack/ticket number; and
(3) validation number;
that appears [sic, appear] on each ticket are for commission or retailer use only and cannot be used or played as a play or prize symbol to win a prize.
SECTION 6. (a) To play a ticket in scratch-off game number 0344, the ticket must be validly purchased and the scratch-off material covering the game play data area must be fully removed.
(b) For the game area labeled "FAST $25 SPOT", if a "
" (7) play symbol is revealed, then ticket may be redeemed for a prize in the amount of twenty-five dollars ($25).
(c) For the game area labeled "YOURS BEATS THEIRS", if the rank of the play symbol in the column labeled "YOURS" exceeds the rank of the play symbol in the column labeled "THEIRS" in the same row, then the ticket may be redeemed for a prize in the amount represented by the prize symbol that is located in that row.
(d) For the game area labeled "2 OF A KIND", if two (2) like play symbols are revealed, the ticket may be redeemed for a prize in the amount represented by the corresponding prize symbol.
(e) For the game area labeled "7 - 11", if the sum of the numeric value of the play symbols in the same row equals seven (7) or eleven (11), then the ticket may be redeemed for a prize in the amount represented by the prize symbol that is located in that row.
(f) For the game area labeled "SLOTS", if three (3) matching play symbols are revealed in the same row, then the ticket may be redeemed for a prize in the amount represented by the prize symbol that is located in that row.
SECTION 7. (a) The approximate number of possible prizes and the estimated odds for each prize level are as follows:
Total value of all prizes*: $10,524,260
Print quantity: 3,027,900
(b) The approximate number of prizes and the estimated odds provided in subsection (a) are calculated based on an approximate print quantity. The actual number of prizes and the chances of winning a prize will vary depending on the actual quantity of tickets printed and as prizes are claimed.
(c) If the print quantity is changed during production of this game or due to subsequent reorders of the game, the ratio of prizes and total value of all prizes to the print quantity will be proportionately maintained so that the overall odds and prize payout percentage will approximate the values provided in subsection (a).
SECTION 8. This document expires sixty (60) days after the last claim date in scratch-off game 0344.
