IC 4-22-2.1-5 Statement Concerning Rules Affecting Small Businesses
The proposed rule will not impose requirements or costs on small businesses under
IC 4-22-2.1-5. This rule will simply restrict the distribution and use of four or fewer currently registered and frequently misused fly control bait products to pesticide users certified and licensed by the State Chemist. Because there are at least 14 other similarly priced and similarly effective fly control bait products registered for sale, distribution, and use in Indiana, neither pesticide retailers nor businesses that use these products will be impacted fiscally or otherwise by shifting to alternative brands and formulations.
