Under
IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on March 8, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., at the Indiana Gaming Commission, 101 West Washington Street, Suite 1600-East Tower, Executive Conference Room, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Gaming Commission will hold a public hearing on a new proposed rule that amends
68 IAC 6-3-1 concerning definitions,
68 IAC 6-3-2 to clarify the process and application for a request for voluntary exclusion,
68 IAC 6-3-3 to update the voluntary exclusion program terminology, and
68 IAC 6-3-5 to clarify the process for requests for removal and makes numerous technical changes.
The Indiana Gaming Commission has the authority to promulgate rules in accordance with the requirements of
IC 4-33 and
IC 4-35. It is estimated that zero small businesses in the gaming industry will be affected by this rule. The costs associated with the proposed rule are minimal and are necessary to ensure the standards and integrity of gaming in Indiana and the Voluntary Exclusion Program. The Commission has relied solely on internal analysis regarding the imposition of costs.
