, notice is hereby given that on February 1, 2012, at 1:00 p.m., at the Plainfield-Guilford Township Public Library, 1120 Stafford Road, McMillan B Meeting Room, Plainfield, Indiana, the Air Pollution Control Board will hold a public hearing on amendments concerning new source review (NSR) provisions for particulate matter less than 2.5 microns (PM2.5
); amendments to definitions of terms to defer carbon dioxide (CO2
) emissions from bioenergy and other biogenic sources from greenhouse gas permitting requirements; and amendments necessary to identify nitrogen oxides (NOx
) as a precursor to ozone in 326 IAC 2
The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments from the public prior to preliminary adoption of these rules by the board. All interested persons are invited and will be given reasonable opportunity to express their view concerning the proposed amendments. Oral statements will be heard, but, for the accuracy of the record, all comments should be submitted in writing.
