IC 4-22-2.1-5 Statement Concerning Rules Affecting Small Businesses
1. Description of Rule:
The amendments to the school health and safety requirements rule remove postsecondary schools from the plan review requirements of the rule. No plan reviews will be required of postsecondary schools by the Indiana State Department of Health.

2. Description of the Affected Industry:
This rule will affect 38 postsecondary schools, both public and private. Of those 38, approximately a few smaller schools may meet the definition of a small business found at IC 5-28-2-6.

3. Reporting, Record Keeping, and Other Administrative Costs:
This rule will eliminate any reporting, record keeping, or other administrative costs imposed on postsecondary schools by this rule at this time.

4. Estimated Total Annual Economic Impact on Small Businesses:
This rule will impose no economic impact on small business.

5. Justification for Costs:
This rule produces no costs for either state or the affected small businesses.

6. Regulatory Flexibility Analysis:
There is no alternate way to remove postsecondary schools from the requirements of the school health and safety requirements rule.
