TITLE 470 DIVISION OF FAMILY RESOURCES

This notice is published in accordance with IC 12-8-3-4.4. Under IC 4-22-2-29, LSA Document #10-244, posted at 20101103-IR-470100244PRA, was adopted by the Director of the Division of Family Resources on December 3, 2010. The rule will exempt funds in 529 college savings plans and Coverdell Education Savings Accounts from the asset test for eligibility in the TANF cash assistance program, add caretaker relative to the list of individuals to whom potential harm or the threat of harm should be considered when determining good cause for failing to comply with child support enforcement and implementing minimum sanction penalty periods for individuals failing to cooperate with the IMPACT employment and training program, and toughen penalties for clients who are noncompliant with the IMPACT program. The rule that was adopted is the same version as the proposed rule that was posted on the -IR- Database Website on November 3, 2010.
