TITLE 405 OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF FAMILY AND SOCIAL SERVICES

Temporarily amends 405 IAC 5-3-12, 405 IAC 5-16-3, 405 IAC 5-16-4, 405 IAC 5-22-6, 405 IAC 5-22-8, 405 IAC 5-22-9, and 405 IAC 5-22-11 to place limitations on covered occupational, physical, and speech therapies. Temporarily repeals prior authorization requirements for occupational, physical, and speech therapies. Authority: IC 4-22-2-37.1(a)(19); IC 12-15-21-2; IC 12-15-21-3. Effective March 31, 2011.

SECTION 1. (a) This SECTION supplements 405 IAC 5-3-12, 405 IAC 5-22-6, 405 IAC 5-22-8, 405 IAC 5-22-9 and 405 IAC 5-22-11.

(b) For recipients twenty-one (21) years of age and over, occupational, physical, and speech therapies shall not exceed twenty-five (25) units for each type of therapy, per recipient, per rolling twelve (12) month period.

SECTION 2. (a) This SECTION supplements 405 IAC 5-3-12, 405 IAC 5-22-6, 405 IAC 5-22-8, 405 IAC 5-22-9 and 405 IAC 5-22-11.

(b) All prior authorization requirements for recipients twenty-one (21) years of age and over for occupational, physical, and speech therapies, are repealed.
