TITLE 68 INDIANA GAMING COMMISSION
Notice of Public Hearing
LSA Document #10-675
Notice of Public Hearing
Under
IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on April 11, 2011, at 10:30 a.m., at the Indiana Gaming Commission, 101 West Washington Street, Suite 1600-East Tower, Executive Conference Room, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Gaming Commission will hold a public hearing on a new proposed rule adding
68 IAC 2-6.5 concerning server-supported and server-hosted electronic gaming devices at Indiana casinos.
The Indiana Gaming Commission has the authority to promulgate rules in accordance with the requirements of
IC 4-33 and
IC 4-35. It is estimated that zero small businesses in the gaming industry would be affected by this rule. The proposed rule may increase costs for casino companies to comply with the server-based and server-hosted requirements. The proposed rule may also increase costs for casino companies as they will need to update their internal procedures or controls to comply with the new rules. These costs are associated with the minimal standards necessary to ensure the integrity of server-based and server-supported gaming. The Commission has relied solely on internal analysis regarding the imposition of costs.
Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Gaming Commission, 101 West Washington Street, Suite 1600-East Tower and Legislative Services Agency, Indiana Government Center North, Room N201, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
