Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on February 28, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., at the IURC Conference Center, Judicial Courtroom 222, PNC Center, 101 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule (RM #09-10) to amend the IURC's administrative rules regarding net metering.

The proposed rules will affect customers of investor-owned electric utilities and said utilities that are subject to the jurisdiction of the IURC. Most of the costs of the proposed rule already existed under the existing rules. Only administrative expenses are new. The proposed rule may result in savings to customers' electric bills and gives customers more options to use renewable energy.

Copies of any justification data (referenced data, studies, or analyses) are now on file with the Commission and available to be inspected and copied at the National City Center, 101 West Washington Street, Suite 1500 East.

Copies of these rules are now on file at the National City Center, 101 West Washington Street, Suite 1500 East and Legislative Services Agency, Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N201 and are open for public inspection.
