Notice of Public Hearing
Under
IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on December 17, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. EST, at the Indiana Government Center South, 302 West Washington Street, Conference Center Room 1, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Emergency Medical Services Commission will hold a public hearing on a proposed amendment of
836 IAC 4 to revise recertification procedures.
There is no fiscal impact for this rule because it only creates a process by which certified persons may submit their recertification documentation on a delayed basis. The proposed rule amendments will impose costs only on certified persons who have delayed the submission of their recertification documentation. The purpose of the rule is to allow those persons to become recertified within a specified delayed period of time as an alternative to applying for a variance from the Commission. The Emergency Medical Services Commission has authority to adopt this rule under
IC 16-31-2-7.
Public comments are invited and may be directed to the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, Code Services Section, Attn: Mara Snyder, Indiana Government Center South, 302 West Washington Street, Room W246, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204.
Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Government Center South, 302 West Washington Street, Room W246 and Legislative Services Agency, Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N201, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
