TITLE 68 INDIANA GAMING COMMISSION

Notice of Public Hearing
LSA Document #10-498

Notice of Public Hearing

Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on November 30, 2010, at 10:30 a.m., at the Indiana Gaming Commission, 101 West Washington Street, Suite 1600-East Tower, Executive Conference Room, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Gaming Commission will hold a public hearing on a new proposed rule amending 68 IAC concerning definitions, ticket-in ticket-out (TITO) technology, manually paid jackpots, and accounting requirements and making numerous administrative, ministerial, and technical changes.
The Indiana Gaming Commission has the authority to promulgate rules in accordance with the requirements of IC 4-33 and IC 4-35. It is estimated that zero small businesses in the gaming industry would be affected by this rule. The proposed rule may increase costs for casino companies to comply with TITO requirements, such as submitting TITO tickets for approval, ensuring TITO specifications, and destroying TITO tickets under the approved methods. The proposed rule may also increase costs for casino companies and if they need to update their internal procedures or controls to address TITO and the accounting requirements. These costs are associated with the minimal standards necessary to ensure the integrity of TITO. The Commission has relied solely on internal analysis regarding the imposition of costs.
Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Gaming Commission, 101 West Washington Street, Suite 1600-East Tower and Legislative Services Agency, Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N201, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
